Tarot your heart out

Yeah, I second that too. I suspect it takes years for faith in anything to come back once it's gone.
you must have a tiny bit left if you are still doing spreads though right? so don't give up..you can't go through your whole life without faith, eventually something will spark it to come back.
Actually, the tarot is generally out of boredom, need for distraction or an attempt to focus my thoughts. Not so much for prognosticaing. It's not that I am giving up on faith. I am very happy for other people that have it - in others, in society, in a God, in themselves, etc. I doubt it's existence, or the fact that I once had it in abundance. It's just not something I have much of in my life anymore - sometimes to a deafening degree.

Would make for some great fun ;)

Some people, myself included, believe that faith in science is just as powerful (or more so) than faith in a deity. I also believe in Tarot - is that hippocritical? I don't think so.. I see devices like Tarot and magick (and even 'traditional' religious incantations and spells), as ways to decode the science or put meaning to the infinitely complex mathematical probabilities that rule existence.

You didn't lose your faith at all, you refined it. You've internalized it and made it a part of you. Thats powerful stuff - enjoy!
